    Peacock ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers for January 12th reveal Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) has some advice. The only question is, with Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) listen? Meanwhile, he’s definitely left an opening for Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) to come through for Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein). Plus, will Lucas Horton (Brian Dattilo) be able to solve a problem? Here’s what you need to know.

    Peacock ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers For January 12: Honesty’s the best policy

    First, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal Sonny has some experience with how things can go wrong when secrets take over. We assume Alex will be overcome with guilt over turning off Stephanie’s phone and confide in his brother. Because teasers say he’ll urge Alex to be honest with her. We totally agree with the honesty thing, but we don’t believe it’ll help Alex at all.

    What he cost Stephanie will likely not be forgiven. At least, until Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) miraculously returns to the land of the living. Because you know that’s where this will end up. Even then, we think Alex will have a hard time getting her to forgive him.

    Elsewhere, Alex ignored those calls out of jealousy of Chad and a bit of stupidity. After all, who would call multiple times so close together unless it was a huge emergency? However, while we think Alex was wrong to ignore those calls, we don’t think he was wrong to be wary of Chad. And now, Chad is going to be there for Stephanie following her mother’s death. At least, we assume that’s why she’s leaning on him. We doubt she’ll learn about the phone thing until a little later.

    In other ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers, Lucas apparently has some information to share with Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder). We’re going to assume this has something to do with the toxin/the cure, and Orpheus (George DelHoyo) knows more than he’s saying. Whatever it is, we expect it to lead to a last-minute race to save Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall). And, who knows? It could be what ultimately brings all three back.

    Finally, we’ll see Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) mourn a loss. Obviously, they’re talking about Kayla, and we’re sure it will bring some feels, but we sadly just can’t take this whole story seriously. After all, a promo all but hinted they’ll come back.
