In connection with an alleged incident at a Kansas restaurant in February, Jackson Mahomes, the younger brother of Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes, was detained on Wednesday and charged with aggravated sexual violence.

Mahomes was taken into custody at roughly 7:45 AM, and a $100,000 bail was established. He has been charged with three counts of aggravated sexual violence, according to court documents. He was also accused with misdemeanor battery on one count.

The 40-year-old proprietor of the Aspens Restaurant and Lounge accused the 22-year-old social media sensation of sexually and physically attacking her after she complained that he repeatedly tried to kiss her without her will.

Jackson allegedly assaulted a male wait staff member, according to the owner, who also said he appeared drunk earlier in the night. In Kansas, a penalty for severe sexual battery may be up to 55 months. Jackson’s legal representative, Brandan Davies, said he done nothing wrong shortly after the reported event.

“Our investigation has revealed substantial evidence refuting the claims of Jackson’s accuser including the statements of several witnesses. We have reached out to law enforcement to provide the fruit of our investigation so that they may have a complete picture of the matter.”

The event appears to have been captured on security footage, and authorities have been looking into it since March. Jackson, who is known for sharing details of his life online, withdrew from public view for a while after the accusations, but he has since made a comeback on social media and just went to the NFL Draft in Kansas City.

It’s not the first time Jackson has been in the news; he previously received criticism for dousing Baltimore Ravens supporters with water during a game in 2021 and performing a TikTok dance over the Sean Taylor monument on the field in Washington a few weeks later. In Las Vegas in 2022, he was seen grabbing a lady by the face.

What do you think? Should Jackson serve time for everything he has done and why do you think he keeps getting off? Let us know in the comments below.
