Things in Genoa City as chugging along as we’re into character development, and CBS “The Young and the Restless (Y&R)” Spoilers are curious about a couple of small fires burning.
It looks like we have a couple of fun angles coming up. They both feel like they need some juice to get going, so hopefully we won’t see they typical slow burn this time.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For 8 September: Victor’s unhappy
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has been chomping at the bit to unleash Newman Media on Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Chance Comm.
His only problem is his previously full speed ahead on revenge son, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), isn’t interested in that route as he wants to destroy Chance Comm in a straight up fight in the marketplace.
While there have been a few bumps along the way, it looks like Victor’s patience is about at an end and he’s ready to cut the hounds loose.
The question CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers have is will he tell Adam he’s disappointed, or will he convey it to Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) or someone he’s thinking of to take Adam’s place?
At some point things will come to a head here, and we’ve been (im)patiently waiting for some sign of life for months. Maybe now they’ll give it the kickstart it needs?
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For 8 September: Devon opens up
Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) is finding himself stuck between what he wants and what he knows needs to be done, and he’s going to spill it all to Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).
This will be a much needed outlet for him as he’s continuing to grow frustrated at Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) not being there for Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway).
We think he’s going to do some venting about how Chance is an idiot and should be there as the writer’s character assassination continues.
We also think Devon’s torn because he wants a child, and being so close to one after he lost his is tearing his heart out and that’s what’s bringing up his animosity toward Chance.
He may even mention how he’s trying to walk the line between being a friend for Abby and not the father, and it’s getting harder and harder not to cross over.
This will be a tough and touching scene as we’ll get to see a little more of what makes Devon tick. Though we’d like to see this storyline done without dragging Chance through the mud.
We all know he wouldn’t leave Abby like this, but what can we do?
Do you think Devon will be able to keep walking the line? Let us know below and check back with CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
