ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers for April 16th, 2020 indicates that poor Detective Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will bite the bullet and tell Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) that marrying Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) is ultimately her choice. Willow was under the impression that he would want to make the decision as a couple but as it turns out, no. He is leaving the decision up to Willow under her own autonomy as a single person, which is actually pretty woke of him to do that. Props to you, Chase. He just wants what’s best for Willow, and he also wants what’s best for Wiley Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson) and he doesn’t want to be seen as getting in the way when he could easily step aside for now and let her help keep little Wiley away from Nelle Benson Archer (Chloe Lanier).

Of course right now Willow has some reservations about this because being with Michael just doesn’t seem right to her. She’s in love with Chase, not Michael and this feels awkward and weird. We’ll see how she comes to feel about Michael in the coming weeks, if this is just business as usual for Ms. Tait or if there’s an underlying love connection there. Michael on the other hand is not even thinking about WIllow right now, rather he is focused on his custody battle with Nelle and hoping desperately that Diane Miller (Caroline Hennessy) can pull a miracle out of her hat. Michaelis freaking out about Wiley’s well-being so he will panick to Mom Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattson) about things.

That’s when Chase and Sasha Gilmore will come together and ultimately decide that this whole marriage situation needs a little push.But wait, didn’t he just tell Willow that everything was up to her? OH well guess that goes flying out the window when things need a little push, eh Chase? Michael and Willow are waiting to be given the go ahead so that they won’t break their respective lovers’ hearts. But what if said respective lovers hooked up on their own? Sasha and Chase will stage a cheating scenario and Michael will find himself at the alter. Geeze!

Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will think that boyfriend Peter August (Wes Ramsey) has suffered enough and this will cause her to be at odds with Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) about things. Robert insists that Peter’s suffering is all a matter of opinion and the way you look at things. Little do they both know that Peter has arranged for Rober to meet a special little distraction later, though we know not what it will be or when it will go down.

Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlet Fernandez) and heir apparent to the throne of evil, has decided to let Aiden Webber (Jason David) in on her plan to put snakes in the pinata. She believes that they’re in there but as it turns out that’s an epic miscalculation. Where did the giant wiggleworm go? Probably into Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) gigantic purse. Since Charlotte has already been rather shady towards Ava about missing the Cassadine mansion and hurled digs at Ava about her horse Butterscotch missing hi stall, so it won’t take long for Ava to figure out just who left a giant snake in her purse.

Meanwhile Jason Morgan *Steven Burton) and Sonny Cointhos (Maurice Bernard) will decide that it’s time to move forward with the plan to ride Port Chales of Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) for good. But no doubt, as always, you know what they say about even the best laid plans. It’ll prove true in this instance too. Jason and Sonny will definitely meet snags and interruptions along the way, though, what they will be, we don’t know yet. Guess we’ll have to stay tuned!!!
