    New ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Another close call, Sam calls in reinforcements, and the ELQ thing takes a turn

    ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers for August 23rd reveal we might be seeing a way out for one character. Meanwhile, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) has explaining to do, and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) continues to search for answers. Let’s see what’s up with that and more.

    ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers For August 23: Explain yourself

    First, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) got a surprise Friday. ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal she caught Chase on his feet. When Chase returned to get back in his chair, she was waiting with questions. Going by the papers in her hands as she demands Chase tell the truth, we guess she knows what they say. She just wants him to explain how and why he has them.

    As for Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) and his quest for ELQ rights, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) wants to know how much it will take to end his claim. We’re expecting Austin to turn it down. One, he’s after more than just money. It’s the principle. Plus, he might have seen the text by then and know Chase found proof.

    Related to this, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) says he will wait for Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) as long as it takes. Given she approached Michael to say she can’t do this anymore, we wonder if he’ll try to talk her down with that statement. Personally, we think he should be supporting her telling the truth.

    In other ‘General Hospital’ spoilers, we know that Laura Webber (Genie Francis) will be taking a bit of a vacation from the show. As the teasers are saying she gets alarming news, we have a feeling either Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) escaped, or he’s not as cut off as they thought he was. And he might be making threats through someone else. Making this more likely was Martin’s panic after receiving a phone call and sudden visit to Laura. As Laura asks if she gets a choice here while Jordan Ashford (Brianna Nicole Henry) looks on, we think she might be on her way out of town. Likely as a safety measure.

    Recently, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) returned to the show. And he created some confusion for Sam with his call for help. She’ll be determined to get answers, and will believe Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) can help.
