‘General Hospital’ spoilers confirm that Finola Hughes is returning soon as Anna Devane. The news was announced last week.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Joss and Emma Both Have an Adventurous Spirit
It would be awesome if Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Emma Scorpio Drake (Braedyn Bruner) teamed up to come to her rescue. A partnership between them could be exactly the burst of youthful energy the soap needs right now.
The idea of these two daughters of legacy characters coming together would be a fresh and exciting turn of events. Both young heroines have an adventurous spirit, just like their respective mothers.
It would also be epic for Joss and Emma to join forces for the greater good and save the iconic former WSB agent and super spy, Anna.
Anna is still trapped in that French clinic, still claiming that Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) is alive. Anna is typically the most stable, competent person in the room.
If Anna says that Faison is alive, maybe there is something behind it other than the delusional rantings of a broken former agent. Hey, this is a soap, and stranger things have happened!
Then again, Anna was mentally tortured. Regardless, she is basically being held prisoner there at this point, and Emma knows her grandmother well enough to know she’s almost always a step ahead of everyone.
Joss was also asking a clearly annoyed and suspicious Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevy) an awful lot of questions. She obviously wants to know what’s up with that family.
The junior spy discovered some weird items at Wyndemere, which is also where Anna was held prisoner. Joss found a copy of the book, “The Crystalline Conspiracy” by P.K. Sinclair, and instantly recognized Anna on the cover.
Joss saw that the book was inscribed, “For my muse,” referring to Anna. She also found Faison’s favorite cigarillos.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Emma and Joss as a Team Makes Sense
Joss thinks the book may have something to do with Anna’s institutionalization. Emma, who has a strong bond with Anna, has wanted to know what the heck is going on with her grandmother for months.
When Emma’s mother and Anna’s daughter, Robin Scorpio (Kimberly McCollough), tried to visit Anna, she wasn’t allowed in, not even after traveling a ridiculously long distance.
However, for mental health patients, family support is a huge aspect of their treatment. In fact, mental health professionals encourage visits from family members during specific hours of the day.
Trauma is seriously debilitating, and Anna could use some support from her family. So, keeping all that in mind, it appears that there is much more to Anna’s little “stint” in that French clinic than meets the eye.
Plus, Joss may only be an amateur at the WSB, but she has her mom, Carly Spencer’s, spot-on instincts. She has a unique, proactive approach that would combine well with Emma’s emotional ties to Anna, making the rescue deeply personal for her.
It would also be wonderful if a true friendship could blossom from their rescue mission. The recent scenes between Joss and Emma give us some hope that it’s possible.
Additionally, since Emma and Joss are the only ones who sense that Anna may be in trouble, it makes perfect sense for these two young women to team up and save Anna from whatever shadiness is going on here because something definitely doesn’t add up!
