It seems that we have finally gotten a premiere date for Season 4 of Stranger Things in a letter released by the Duffer Brothers. Season 4 is going to be so epic that it has to be released in two volumes. Volume one is going to be released on May 27th, and volume 2 will drop on July 1st.

However, the Duffer Brothers also confirmed that season five will be the show’s last season. They wrote in the letter: “Seven years ago, we planned out the complete story of Stranger Things. At the time we predicted the story would last four to five seasons. It proved too large to tell in four, but — as you’ll soon see for yourselves — we are now hurtling toward the finale.”

So What Exactly Does That Mean?!

“Season 4 will be the penultimate season. Season 5 will be the last. There are still many more exciting stories to tell within the world of Stranger Things; new mysteries, new adventures, new unexpected heroes.” wow, such teases! Come on, give us some spoilers! Does Hopper come back wrong? Will Mike and Eleven be reunited? (We know they will.) Does the Upside Down still exist as we once knew it? Come on, inquiring minds want to know man!

The entire cast of Stranger Things seems to be excited, but none more than Millie Bobbie Brown who shared a poster of Eleven on her Instagram page with the caption, “Every ending has a beginning.” Awwww, foreshadowing maybe?

Finn Wolfhard also shared a picture of the boys of the cast with the caption “Brochachos for life” Awwww!!! So good to see some non-toxic masculine bonding.

Sadie Sink even got in on the action by posting an official poster with the caption, “Vol. 1 is coming May 27th, Vol. 2 is coming July 1st. See you in Hawkins. :)” however, the Duffer Brothers said that there were still lots of stories to tell within the Stranger Things universe – does that mean that there will be spin-offs? I mean, we’d be here for it but we need some confirmation first!!! Stay tuned!!!
