Netflix has released the first single from the official ‘Over The Moon’ soundtrack. The film is coming to Netflix, October 23, and is about a young girl who builds a rocket ship to prove that a legendary Moon Goddess exists. You can listen to the full song below that was uploaded with a description of the film and how will appear in the movie,

“Fueled with determination and a passion for science, a bright young girl builds a rocket ship to the moon to prove the existence of a legendary Moon Goddess. There she ends up on an unexpected quest, and discovers a whimsical land of fantastical creatures. Directed by animation legend Glen Keane, and produced by Gennie Rim and Peilin Chou, Over the Moon is an exhilarating musical adventure about moving forward, embracing the unexpected, and the power of imagination. The film stars Cathy Ang (Fei Fei), Phillipa Soo (Chang’e), Robert G. Chiu (Chin), Ken Jeong (Gobi), John Cho (Dad), Ruthie Ann Miles (Mom), Margaret Cho (Auntie Ling), Kimiko Glenn (Auntie Mei), Artt Butler (Uncle), and Sandra Oh (Mrs. Zhong).”

Viewers are looking forward to this film and some are even predicting an Oscar nomination for best song! “Nominated for Oscar. Best song. I’m calling it.”, “I was mesmerized with the song and video that it took a lot times of listening to it to get the full meaning. From what I think is going on, her mother is gone and her father fell in love with another person, so she wants to prove the legend of the moon goddess because she thinks her father forgot the mother or/and thinks because the mother is not around, the father doesn’t love the mother. That just adds another punch on top of everything”, and “I’ve been waiting for the release…… Netflix isn’t promoting the film good enough”.
