Netflix has been coming in hot with new reality series lately and the newest trailer for My Unorthodox Life has viewers ready to see what can happen to those who have left the Jewish faith.
This show focuses on Julia Haart and her home in New York. Julia has been in the fashion industry for decades and she is also the CEO of Elite World Group. The 50-year-old businesswoman is sharing her life with viewers and it is a bit surprising what her daily routine looks like.
Julia has been an Orthodox Jew most of her life. She decided to leave the community in 2013 and she has seen a lot of repercussions since doing so. She was born, Talia Leibov in Russia and she was always raised in an ultra-Orthodox family.

She had strict values that she had to live by and her parents wanted her to be the perfect Jew. This was hard for her, but she continued to practice, even upon moving to New York.
She has become the creative director of La Perla and now a CEO. What can’t this woman do?! She wanted to share her new way of life with viewers and Netflix and she is pretty inspirational, to say the least.
She and her children feel that they are still working on a new lifestyle, even though they have been out of the practice of Judaism for years now.
Julia opened up to E! News about the show.”I am so honored and excited to share my story with the world. Putting myself and my family out there was a very momentous decision because it is frightening to open yourself up and show the world who you are, flaws and all! I really feel this was something I needed to do, as it is my dream, my goal, my prayer, and hope that someone, somewhere, will watch this show and be inspired to change something they’re unhappy within their own life, whatever that may be. I hope people watching this show will find the inspiration and confidence to fix whatever it is that is making them unhappy and realize it’s OK not to be the status quo and live the life you want to live.”
We are excited to see just how Julia and her family live their life on My Unorthodox Life. The show will begin streaming on July 14 and we hope to learn a lot more about Julia.
