Money Heist (La Casa de Papel) spoilers indicate there’s some tough times ahead. Season 4 got off to a crazy start, as the team struggled to save Nairobi (Alba Flores). She’d been shot by a sniper at the end of season 3. Let’s take a look at the fight so far, and where it’s going.

Money Heist Spoilers: Fighting the odds

From the beginning, it was one problem after another. Nairobi was in terrible shape, and was desperate to live. She even wanted them to send her out to the cops, but Tokyo (Úrsula Corberó) took charge and ultimately made the decision for them to operate on her. We questioned that decision, and the surgery definitely was complex.

Money Heist spoilers reveal that the team performed the operation with the help of someone on the outside. He helped them video chat, but the cops caught on. That’s when the internet connection was cut off, leaving them on their own. Toyko made the decision to keep going, because there wasn’t much else they can do at that point. Then, it was a waiting game. Luckily for them, Nairobi recovered from the surgery. But trouble was on the way.

    Money Heist Spoilers: Near-miss

We’ll get more into this guy in another article, but there’s a security guard at the Bank of Spain, César Gandía (José Manuel Poga), who specifically looked after the bank’s Governor, Mario Urbaneja (Pep Munné). He was cuffed after the heist began, but he eventually got free. His first order of business? He ended up in Nairobi’s room, where he intended to suffocate her. Luckily (again), the attempt was stopped. However, this guy is a machine. He’s currently on the loose as of episode 5 of the new season. We’re looking forward to seeing how his story ends. But we, sadly, know how one ends already.

Money Heist Spoilers: Out of luck

After that miracle recovery, and her close call, Nairobi seemed almost unbeatable. Unfortunately, that won’t be the case. Money Heist spoilers reveal she will die before the season ends, and she’ll die through yet another gunshot wound.

In a video released to YouTube, Flores gave viewers a look at her last day on set. In the video, we see that shot. But we also see just how close this cast is, as well as how much the role meant to her. She broke down in a goodbye speech to everyone on set, where she talked about how this show allowed her to grow as an actress, and how much it and the cast has meant to her. She also describes it, as many probably will, as a before and after in her career. She also opened up in an off-set conversation in the video where she talked about having nothing on the horizon and how scary, yet liberating that is. Definitely something a lot of people can relate to. Check out the video to see more, and tune in to Money Heist, currently streaming on Netflix. We’ll be back to offer so more thoughts on this season soon.
