Netflix La Casa De Papel (Money Heist) spoilers reveal the fourth season is now ready for streaming! In celebration, we’re going to be taking a look at a couple more moments from the third season. Don’t forget, there’s also a special documentary on the series also available today. That said, let’s take a look at another memorable part of the third season.
Netflix La Casa De Papel (Money Heist) Season 4 Spoilers: From cheater to robber
The story of Mónica Gaztambide (Esther Acebo) has been an interesting one. She started off as a simple secretary who was dating her boss, the director of the Spanish Mint. It looked like she and Arturo Román (Enrique Arce) might possibly end up together. However, over time, La Casa de Papel spoilers indicate she fell for one of her kidnappers, Denver (Jaime Lorente). She’s now an official part of the gang and going by the name Stockholm.
In the third season, they were off living a happy family life when the gang was summoned back together. Móncia showed her commitment and guts when she agreed to help a fellow robber without really hesitating. Later, she showed even more when Arturo managed to get into their latest target and demanded to see his son. The one she’s currently raising with Denver. But there was something else related that stood out to us.
Netflix La Casa De Papel (Money Heist) Season 4 Spoilers: Changing role
In season 3, Denver showed he had a responsible side. He wasn’t thrilled with the idea of Mónica joining in this newest heist. They have a kid, after all. Once everything was in motion, he had a moment where he confided to a fellow robber his fears. It led to an interesting parenting dilemma that we loved.
Netflix La Casa De Papel (Money Heist) Season 4 Spoilers: Balancing act
He’s been a bit more cautious because of the kid. It’s understandable. You’re responsible for the life of another human being, and it’s got to be a daunting task under any circumstances. But when you’re a crook? Forget it. There’s a whole new level of pressure and risk. But he was given some interesting advice.
La Casa de Papel spoilers reveal Denver was advised he’s taking the totally wrong path. The theory is, that who you are before a kid needs to be who you are after a kid. If you’re a risk taker who suddenly plays it way too safe, you’re going to end up resenting your own child. Plus, you’re denying who you truly are. That’s never a good thing for one’s well-being. We find ourselves both agreeing with, and being disturbed by this advice. When robbing banks is who you were before parenthood, that could also be detrimental to the kid. Look at what it did to The Professor (Álvaro Morte)? His father was a robber who dreamed of a huge heist. However, he was killed in the process of carrying out a robbery.
Years later, The Professor became almost obsessed with carrying out his father’s dream—with his own touch, of course. His brother, Berlin (Pedro Alonso), also followed in dad’s footsteps. We guess the lesson here is, there’s a fine line between being your authentic self and perpetuating a cycle of resentment of a different sort.
