NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers indicate Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) needs to take infinite seats. We’ve been okay with her, for the most part. Except for her deceiving Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) out of fear a baby with Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) would ruin her relationship. Usually, she’s either boring, or a bit nosy to us. But on Monday’s episode, she crossed a huge line. And we wonder what is next for her relationship with Eric because of it. Here’s what you need to know.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: The investigation
We’ve been on Nicole’s side through most of this whole baby swap thing. She sensed something off and did what seemed to be the right thing. She wanted answers about who that baby really belongs to. It’s a destructive path, as it we saw Eric was devastated. Sarah will be even more so. But, in a way, it was the right thing to do. The baby doesn’t belong to them, and the real parents are still hurting over their supposed loss.
‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers indicate she did a good job with Dr. Raynor (Victoria Platt) through the recent New York trip. She was compassionate, and didn’t immediately call the cops to turn her in. In turn, Dr. Raynor realized it was time for the truth to come out and was willing to take whatever comes her way. But here’s where Nicole goes way too far.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Reveal
So, the big reveal happened Monday. We’re still on the fence about why it happened. On the one hand, we do think she wanted to be honest after the previous lies. However, it wasn’t like she had a lot of choice in this. As soon as she got back, Eric was all over her about the supposed business trip and those tests. Even if she didn’t want to tell the truth, she was sort of backed into a corner. But what she did next is beyond terrible.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Kidnapper
Previously, she expressed her opinion to Dr. Raynor about Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk). We wrote it off at first as her making Dr. Raynor feel better, or even her indulging in a momentary imaginary revenge. We seriously did not see her suggesting to Eric they keep silent. Or that she would tell him about how much better off Mickey would be. There are two problems with this.
First off, it’s like she doesn’t even know Eric. ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers indicate he’s the self-sacrificing type. He’s also Brady Black’s (Eric Martsolf) brother. So, there was never a chance of him keeping quiet with this. Secondly, who died and made her the authority on who’s a fit mother? Even if Kristen was the monster she thinks, does she really have any right to essentially expect Eric to kidnap that child? Any interaction with Kirsten these days shows she’s changed dramatically. And she’s close to Brady, who has forgiven Kristen and accepted she’s a new woman. To us, this shows a lack of empathy for Brady, as well as a lack of respect for his judgment.
As far as the future’s concerned, she really needs to rein in her Kristen hate. Yes, she’s justified in not wanting anything to do with her personally. Yes, she’s got every right to not like her. She doesn’t have the right to do something almost as bad to get back at her. And if she keeps this up and lets it get any further, she might just lose Eric. It’s really time for her to deal with her angst and start making a few changes herself.
