    NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers for January 17th reveal the trial of EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) will take a dramatic turn. Plus, we’ll see Devil Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) making his next move. As is that wasn’t enough drama, Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) has some family stuff to deal with. Let’s see what’s ahead.

    So, EJ’s trial started with a twist when Belle Black (Martha Madison) came in to defend him, much to Melinda Trask’s (Tina Huang) displeasure. Things aren’t looking any better this week. It seems chaos erupts at the courthouse as the trial continues. We’re actually surprised we didn’t see one part of the previous weekly preview, where EJ threatens Lucas.

    So, that’s still on the table. However, there is so much more to cause trouble. We’re sure Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will have a few things to say about what he walked in on last week. Plus, it seems a given his helpful testimony will now turn out to be anything but. We really feel for Belle, because she’s going to take a black eye on this one.

    Making things even worse, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal Lucas Horton (Brian Dattilo) takes the stand. Again, it’s not hard to figure out what he’ll have to say. And that other promo makes it all but certain how EJ will respond to Lucas’ testimony.

    We’d suggest EJ’s outburst will be the result of more demonic manipulation, but when it comes to Lucas? We doubt EJ will need much prodding. Lucas better hope EJ gets locked away a long time, because that’s the only way he won’t be the next to disappear.

    So, we know the devil has been very busy causing chaos at the courthouse. However, Monday will also see him doing some damage elsewhere. It seems Devil Johnny flirts with Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus). And given the weekly promo, we don’t think she’ll fight that too much. That if it means getting those votes. We’re sure she’ll get Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) to understand.

    So, we’ll be talking some heartbreak in the weekly promo, but we’ll see a bit of that Monday. It seems Nancy Wesley (Patrika Darbo) explains to Chloe and Brady Black (Eric Martsold) why she thinks Craig Wesley (Kevin Spirtas) is having an affair.
