NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers reveal Victoria Konefal (Ciara Brady) has been MIA lately. Since the actress went to recurring status, her character has been kidnapped and now suffers from amnesia.
This caused her to run away to South Africa with Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) to get away from Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson). The future is uncertain for this couple, but we do know there’s a plan to hopefully bring stability to the couple.

A little bit back, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal they had to fix a problem. With Ciara about to go off the grid, they needed something to explain that. Plus, show runner Ron Carlivati wanted to keep Wilson from being affected by the decision.
We get this was a tough thing to deal with, but we still feel the story choice wasn’t exactly the greatest. First, it made Theo look beyond shady. And it didn’t make the rest of the family look any better. However, we’ve been promised better in the future.

According to a recent Soaps in Depth article, we’ll be seeing Ciara this summer. Carlivati promised they’d worked something out with Konefal and that fans should be satisfied with where things go. He also teased the timing would be significant, as the pair as an important anniversary on the way. We’ll see if it works out.

Personally, we’ve loved watching Konefal and Wilson together. ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers showed a couple with real potential to be the next big thing. That is, until Ben’s heart got broken and Ciara disappeared. We like that she’ll be returning, but we’re also noting that Carlivati is still mentioning the possibility of a recast if needed. He said it’s not off the table.
We think it’s time. We love Konefal, but if she’s not willing or unable to be there to tell the stories, someone has to step in. There can only be so many kidnappings, amnesia incidents, and other things to pull one or both out of town before it gets a little ridiculous.
And Ben definitely needs things to change. You can see where the whole situation has made him doubt himself and his worth. Maybe he’s not saying it out loud, but his “conscience” is definitely speaking loud enough for both.
Fans have been invested in these characters and recasts are not a rare thing in Daytime, so we think it’s beyond time to have a backup plan in mind. We’ll see how things go this summer when she returns.
We’d love to see her actually lose it on Theo when she realizes what’s been going on all this time. Should give some great stuff for Konefal to play out, and open up potential for the future, whoever might be in the role.
