NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers reveal Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) finally went too far. In the Wednesday episode, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) finally said enough is enough. He dumped Kristen, claiming he needed to do it for the good of their daughter, his family, and friends.
We understand where he’s coming from, but we still have a soft spot for Kristen and think going back to Statesville to pay for her crimes is the last thing she needs. Here’s what you need to know.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Wrong place
First, we believe Kristen’s in the wrong place. ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers indicate she was serving time for her attempt on Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston).
However, watching her second escape fiasco and how desperate she’s become, we think Statesville is the last thing she needs. Instead, they should be sending her to Bayview for an extended (and well-supervised) stay.
First, her love for Brady has clearly been in obsession territory for a while. After all, you don’t wear a mask to pretend to be someone else just to get a man in bed unless you’re far gone.
The fact she was willing to take such a huge risk to keep an eye on things she’s she’s beyond obsessive as well, if not extremely insecure and self-destructive. There’s got to be a reason for that, and she needs to work that out if she has any hope.
Second, it’s clear she loses her grip on reality at times. She let too many situations get out of control and went to too many extreme lengths to keep her secret escape quiet.
Like when she “lost” her baby and found out Rachel was actually alive, she reacted without thinking. That’s something that really needs working on as well.
Finally, she spent years being raised and conditioned by a man who terrorized Salem for decades. And some of the rest of the family doesn’t seem too stable, either.
After all, Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) made a big thing out of what DiMera men do when their women go astray. Another thing that she needs help to overcome. If it’s possible. There is hope, though.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Exhibit A
First, there’s Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson). He was mentally ill and killed several women. After a stint in Bayview (and finding love), he became a better person. He’s made real progress that even targeted brainwashing and drugging couldn’t undo.

Then, there’s Claire Brady (Isabel Durant). ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers indicate she tried to burn several people alive. Like Kristen, she became obsessive and insecure over a man and ended up losing control of herself. After her stint, Claire is also a better person.
She feels the guilt and remorse for her actions and hasn’t fallen back into old habits. Sure, Kristen is going to be a much tougher case. But we think Bayview can make a difference for her, and we hope someone is going to argue for that.
