Meghan, who left The View earlier this summer, shared her exciting news on Twitter. She said, “Everything in my life these days is about going back to basics. Of course, it didn’t take very long for Piers Morgan to comment on her post with, “Welcome aboard Meghan, great to have you on the team,” to which Meghan responded with, “Thank you Piers!”
A lot of Twitter users weighed in on Meghan’s new job with, “Megan,I am happy that you have found a place where you can go back to /basics. It sounds like a new beginning. I hope that you write and speak with the integrity, and honesty of your father.
That, like your father, your contribution will be to development and good of all,” along with, “She tells you incessantly who her father is, and screams at people do are not impressed, and who don’t agree with her, all while trying to appear relevant. Birds of a feather.”
Another critic wrote, “She’s on the right track for sure! Hiring her was even too low for Fox & Friends, says a lot of how useless she is! No more family name free rides make a complete fool on your dime! What are her qualifications other than being John McCain’s daughter? Not that you need qualifications to write for the Daily Mail.”
