A former friend of Meghan Markle has been accused of only attending the children’s hospital gala to be photographed. Publicity suggests that she is hungry to be seen.
British Socialite Lizzie Cundy Said Meghan Ghosted Her When She Met Harry
British socialite Lizzie Cundy attended the event with Meghan Markle last Saturday. At the gala, Meghan re-wore a daring red Carolina Herrera dress she originally wore in November 2021 to a Salute To Freedom Gala in New York.
Except to draw attention to herself, she had the dress altered into a figure-hugging fit. She also had her typically Robert Palmer girl slicked-back hairstyle down in long, wavy tresses.
“There wasn’t a great deal of warmth from people when she arrived. She wasn’t there long. She seemed to be there for the photographs,”
Cundy explained.
“Meghan needs LA more than LA needs her,”
She added.
“LA people feel they’ve been played by her.”
Cundy also said that she became close with Meghan when the two of them met at a charity event in 2013, but Meghan ghosted her when she met Prince Harry.
The former Suits actress appears to have a habit of getting close to people, and when they are no longer useful to her, she ceases communication with them.
Harry and Meghan were loved when they were a part of the royal family, but after they stepped down as working royals, they trash-talked the royal family and hurt the Queen.
Cundy was also upset that she wore a similar dress to the gala as Meghan and said she would have worn a different dress if she had known.
Meghan Markle Had Her Heart Set On A Rich British Man
Cundy said that Meghan Markle always talked about London men and how she wanted to meet a wealthy British man. Cundy was asked to “look after” Meghan when she wanted to meet someone, but Meghan stopped talking to her when she and Harry got engaged.
The Duchess was seen at the gala holding hands with model and co-founder for the Alliance of Moms, Kelly McKee Zajfen, who couldn’t seem to get away from her fast enough.
Meghan not only ghosts people she’s supposedly good friends with, but she also ghosts people in her own family. She hasn’t spoken with her father, Thomas Markle, since 2018.
During Harry and Meghan’s infamous March 2021 interview with Oprah, Meghan told the TV host.
“I grew up as an only child, which everyone who grew up around me knows, and I wish I had siblings.”
Meghan has recently been faced with speculation that her marriage to Prince Harry may be in trouble since he’s longing to go back to the UK while she wants to stay in Montecito.
Harry also spent his 40th birthday away from Meghan, as it was said he went hiking with friends. Royal experts concur that she seemed lost on the red carpet without Harry.
Harry has been on his own quasi-royal tour for the past couple of weeks. First, he went to New York and goofed around with Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon.
Afterward, he went to London to attend the WellChild awards ceremony. Finally, he went to visit Lesotho in Africa. A source close to the Sussexes inferred that Harry wants space from his wife.
