Prince Harry has spent the past two weeks traveling, promoting his charities, and speaking at events. He’s gone solo without his wife, Meghan Markle.
Prince Harry Needed Time Away From “Duchess Difficult”
He’s been showing his philanthropic side from New York to London to Lesotho. There may be a reason. It appears that Harry going it alone was his idea.
He appears to be trying to save face after his tell-all memoir, “Spare.” However, he damaged his relationship with almost every royal family member.
While commercially successful, the book may have hurt his reputation to the point of no return. Prince Harry, who has just turned 40, is doing some self-reflection.
Meghan has been outed by the Hollywood Bible, The Hollywood Reporter. Former employees who have worked with her have said she’s a “dictator in high heels ” and has “reduced grown men to tears.”
Others have called her “Duchess Difficult” and claim she created a toxic work environment. Meghan desperately tried to minimize the damage, as some rushed to her defense, swearing up and down that Meghan was wonderful and working for her was a dream.
But we’re predicting there will be more disasters to come as far as Meghan’s reputation is concerned. She’s not someone who works hard or can be taken seriously.
Megxit has been an utter failure. The only two successful projects for Harry and Meghan were their Netflix docu-series about their romance and Harry’s trashy “Spare.”
Harry And Meghan’s “Exciting” Netflix Projects Have Yet To Materialize
Other than that, their $100 million Netflix deal has produced virtually nothing. Meghan’s animated series, “Pearl,” never came to fruition, and Harry’s “Heart Of Invictus” failed to generate the ratings.
Harry has made a documentary about polo, but is that compelling content for Netflix? The couple also bought the rights to “Meet Me At The Lake,” based on the romantic novel by Carley Fortune. However, there have been no signs of a script being written or the movie going into production.
Wasn’t it Meghan who was boasting about all their “exciting” upcoming projects on the red carpet at Variety’s Power of Women event last November? Still, almost a year later, nothing has come of any of it.
Meghan, who announced her lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, back in March, is at a never-ending standstill.
She’s had several setbacks working on her endeavor. Her US trademark application was rejected, which pushed the project back even further.
It was also widely criticized by royal experts for “lacking substance with no foundation.” She’s reportedly considering renaming her lifestyle brand, and her cooking show has also been pushed back.
Meghan Keeps Making Baffling PR Mistakes
Spotify fired the “f***ing grifters” because Meghan wasn’t capable of producing content. Archetypes was a podcast that the Duchess used to prop herself up when she was supposed to interview her guests.
It’s easy to see why many Sussex employees have jumped ship. The editor of The Hollywood Reporter, Maer Roshan, stands by his account of “Duchess Difficult,” saying he talked to several people who verified the story.
All the gushing in the world can’t save Meghan’s damaged reputation. Meghan’s defense came out in Us Weekly, of all publications. The magazine is basically a tabloid, which Harry loathes.
Using this publication to tell her side of the story wasn’t a wise PR move. Meghan’s agent, Ari Emanuel, at WME, would not have approved.
This brings us to the Duke. He appears to be separating himself and his brand from Meghan. From visiting the mountainous Southern African country Lesotho to a fun and spirited appearance on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Harry seems to be thriving without Meghan by his side. In the past couple of weeks, he’s shown promise.
A source close to the couple admitted, “I believe he wants space.” If Prince Harry distances himself from Meghan, does he have a chance of repairing his family relationships? It may not fix everything, but it’s a good start.
