Newly ‘out’ JoJo Siwa has thrown an extravagant party to celebrate the start of Pride month. However, sequins and rainbows party took a dark turn when police and paramedics were called to the house. Reports say a 30 year old party goer had suffered an over-dose.
It was just after 8pm on Wednesday when the police and ambulance responded to the call to JoJo’s home in the San Fernando Valley. The 30 year old in question had reportedly over-dosed on LSD.
Man Overdoses at JoJo Siwa’s Pride Party
Party-goers who saw the medical emergency go down claim the man showed up to the house party “high, and in pretty rough shape”. It seems he imbibed in more drugs at JoJo’s house party, causing the overdose.
The man in question was transported to hospital and police determined there was no crime committed.
That man’s health status is unclear at this and it put a huge dampener on what JoJo hoped to be a fun bash for her first pride as an out and proud member of the LGBTQ+ community.
The social media, Nickelodian and Dance Mom star truly splashed out on the fabulous Pride party. As documented by influencer Tana Mongeau on her social media the newly-minted gay icon’s rainbow-themed bash had a fully loaded kitchen and bar, a rainbow-dyed dog walking around, a hand-bedazzled rainbow piano, a bouncy house and, as all good Pride celebrations do, a JoJo Barbie wall.
Jojo partied it up with girlfriend, Kylie Prew…well, until 8pm anyway.
Also in celebration of JoJo coming out as gay, she is sharing the digital cover of Entertainment Weekly’s Gay Pride celebratory issue. The “Energizer Bunny” bowed-up teen shares the cover girl accolade with other LGBTQ icons like rapper, Lil Nas X, SNL comedian Bowen Yang, producer and actor Lena Waithe and Pose star MJ Rodriguez.
