First she started off by being a Teen Mom, then went into the adult content industry and now it looks like she wants to be a politician. Hey, it would only make sense that politics would be her next move in life, right? Former MTV star Farrah Abraham recently revealed her political aspirations.
She says that she wants to focus on championing youth and women’s rights. Here’s what you need to know. Speaking to Fox News in a new interview, the single mother says that she believes there’s a place in government for everyone, and especially for her.
Farrah Abraham Is Looking To Get Into Politics
The reality star, who is turning 30 this month, puts it this way, “I do believe more mothers and women need to be in government positions and I say that in a nice way and with no disrespect to other government officials.”
If that weren’t enough, Farrah also explained that she’s got plenty of former politicians in her family. She said, “My aunt, my stepmom, they’ve all retired from government positions. I’ve seen them retire early because the environments were very depressive. I just feel like, ok, I’ve seen them work so hard, dedicate their whole lives but then they needed out. It’s time for change.”
Farrah added, “I’ve seen a lot of bills submitted for change that were declined that could have helped business owners and our community. I realize I have to be a certain age for things I feel I’m fit for. Now, I say, where can I work that is really going to help?”
