Love Is Blind is a complicated reality show that has some ups and downs. Shayne, who appeared in the second season of the show, thought that he had found love with Natalie Lee, but they just couldn’t make things work. Lauren Speed-Hamilton from season one has started to share some of her opinions on the show and how it is mostly scripted.
Interestingly enough, she and her husband, Cameron Hamilton were one of the first successful marriages to come from the show. Lauren had said some harsh words for the show about how their are very few Black women on it. Shayne let it go, but it seems that now he just can’t let it go.
Love Is Blind: Lauren Speaks Out
In October, Lauren made it a point to share with her fans that she feels the show is cutting out all of the Black women from the show. She mentioned that she always sees them on the trailer for the show, but they are never actually on the show.

Lauren then pointed out that the show talks about how they cut those who don’t make connections, btu then they kept Shaina on even though she made no connections. “You know what’s funny about this… Shaina literally connected with NO ONE on the show, YET she had an entire storyline, matter of fact she opted out (literally LEFT) after the reveal and was STILL FEATURED all the way through to AFTER THE ALTAR so….”
After this, Shayne decided to call Lauren out. He wrote to her, “Hey Lauren, you know what’s funny? You have me on your podcast and never bring this up. Must’ve got lost in all the Shaina questions you were asking me. We all kow my eyes couldn’t be more open and crazy, but I didn’t see you on set. How can your verify this? She got the most hate yet she left and you know as well as anyone some stay on for the wrong reasons.
Maybe talk about a season three member that had a full blown relationship and they made him look like a prince. Let’s do an IG live, no edits possible there. I’ m sick of people using our likeness and being the hit pieces because it doesn’t fit your narrative.”
As of today, Lauren has yet to reply to his Instagream post and fans of the show are really looking forward to seeing them go head to head.
