On the Tell-All episode of Love Is Blind, Zanab Jeffrey and Cole Bartnett got into quite a fight when she mentioned that he was always judging her for the way that she ate and while they were dating, he continued to say things to her like she needed to eat a salad.
She told the cameras, “I stopped eating. I was eating a banana and a teaspoon of peanut butter just so I wouldn’t pass out on the long days we were filming.” Cole replied that she was lying and that he never cared about what she ate. He even mentioned that if they have this footage, they need to air it to show that she did make all of this up.
Love Is Blind: The Footage Exists!
The memory that Zanab shared was about the time that she was eating some clementine oranges and she ate two of them and Cole asked her if she was going to eat both of them. She said that after she told him that she would eat both he told her that she needed to save her appetite for dinner.
Love Is Blind: Viewers Torn By The Clementine Argument Between Cole Barnett and Zanab Jeffrey
Of course, this made her feel very self-conscious about her diet and weight and brought it up that Cole was constantly doing that to her. Of course, he denies saying that and wanted the producers to share all the footage.
Netflix found the footage in question and they aired it at the end of the Tel-All episode. It looks as if both cast members were correct in their memories of the incident. Cole did ask her if she was going to eat both oranges because they did have a big dinner ahead.
It didn’t seem as if his tone was that of judging her eating, but just looking out for her. In another scene, on the same day, she was offered a poke’ bowl to eat for lunch and she refused it. Cole then asked her if she was trying to get her “wedding dress bod” and she said, “Something like that.”
Of course, fans of the show are all divided on what to think about this incident. Some saw the question about eating both oranges as criticism, while others didn’t see it that way at all. One Twitter user wrote, “She made it seem like he belittled her and made her not eat. She ate cherries and oranges preparing for her wedding dress. He had nothing to do with why she wasn’t eating. I feel bad for him.”
You will have to be the judge of how to take this comment. You can watch the Tell-All on Netflix and stay to the end for the Cuties incident.
