‘Love in Paradise’ Spoilers finds that Martine was on vacation in Barbados when she met native Stephen and they hit it off and they were together for the rest of their trip. That happened 3 years ago, and they’ve been together ever since. Actually, I take that back, they did have one tiny little blip, and that was a year in, when Stephen cheated on Martine.
However while it did break the trust in their relationship it did not break them up, it would seem that they’re still going strong, relationship-wise, and Martine has made it clear that she wants more.
‘Love in Paradise’: Martine & Stephen, Blocked by COVID?
Stephen has a job that makes it hard for him to be monogamous however, he works as a DJ and basically said that he gets paid to have fun. While it sounds like a blast, it seems that more often than not he is surrounded by beautiful women in “party” situations, reminiscent of Lisa and Usman from Before the 90 days, except Martine doesn’t give off the crazy jealous vibes that Lisa did.
The difference between Martine and Stephen is that they do seem to have a genuine connection that doesn’t seem, well, laughable. When you see them together it doesn’t feel forced and even though he did cheat on her there’s still a genuine affection there.
Martine, while still hurt about it isn’t quite as bitter as one would expect over it, probably because she hasn’t been able to see Stephen in awhile due to COVID, but now with the travel restrictions being lifted she’s off to Barbados again to see her love.
But she wants a commiment and doesn’t seem to want to back down at all. That could change once she gets to Barbados and they actually interact, but for right now it seems that Martine and Stephen just seem like they are the inevitable couple.
Also, Martine’s friends seem supportive and she seems to know the party culture that he comes from because being from Miami she seems to be from the same kind of culture. It would seem that they get each other on a healthy level. However, that could all change once she gets to Barbados and sees all the honeys taking pictures with him. Stay tuned!!!
