Los Angeles Rams receiver Van Jefferson not only became a Super Bowl champion last night but also a new dad! His wife was taken out on a stretcher during the game during the third quarter as she went into labor. While some people may think he should have left the game, but apparently his wife said she didn’t want to take the moment away from him.
“I said, ‘You play, I’ll see you at the hospital afterward.’ That’s what it is. I will never take that moment away from him. I want to see him glorify God on the field that day,” Samaria said.

The Rams went on to beat the Cincinnati Bengals in the Super Bowl 23-20 with Jefferson catching four catches for 23 yards. However, Jefferson had the greatest victory of all welcoming a new baby into the world the very same night.
All we can imagine are the dad jokes and stories that that little baby will hear for the rest of their lives.
