LeBron James wasn’t in the running for MVP consideration in 2021, but he is on the list for Worst Actor of last year! The NBA star made the list for the Razzie Awards, which honor the very worst in film every year in a prestigious manner. On Monday, the committee nominated James for the Worst Actor award for his role in ‘Space Jam: A New Legacy’.

Not only is he predicted to win the award, but ‘Space Jam: A New Legacy’ is expected to take home the award for Worst Picture! Even the director of the film thinks LeBron sucked in the film! ”

“Michael Jordan, Michael Jackson, and Madonna — all three have this quality where people connect immediately without understanding anything about them. And nobody else has that quality. LeBron is a fantastic basketball player, he’s a top-20 basketball player of all time. He is not Michael,” said director Joe Pytka.

Pytka continued to say that there will never be another Michael Jordan and that they should have called this film something other than ‘Space Jam’,

“Maybe they should call it something else. They should not call it Space Jam 2, or whatever. It should be another movie. It’s not Space Jam. Space Jam is Michael Jordan. No matter how much LeBron wants to be a great player — and he is a great player — he’s not Michael Jordan. There will never be another Michael Jordan.”

As for tradition, the Razzies will be announced on March 26, just a day before the Oscars.

It looks like James may be a shoo-in. Any chance that he would actually accept the award in person?
