HBO Max’s new show, ‘On The Trail’ follows CNN reporters as they cover presidential campaigns. It follows several women as they follow the 2020 primaries and give you an in-depth look at their lives, being away from their families, following the trail, and at times even forgetting what city their in from all the traveling.
It could be an interesting look into that lifestyle if it’s something that interests you, however, for a vast majority, I’m not sure that this makes for the most exciting content. Of course, there are a lot of people who already aren’t fans of the news, so seeing more of it probably won’t be for them.
You can watch the two-minute trailer below that was uploaded to HBO Max’s official YouTube channel with the following description,

People are mixed about this documentary, some citing it looks boring while others are very excited about it. Comments on the video like, “Watch Netflix so you make a trailer for a documentary without looking boring”, “I’d rather watch every Adam Sandler movie for eternity then watch this. This movie is rated Not Reliable” were some who didn’t seem interested, while others posted, “This looks sooo good and has such a great timing, love it!”, and “This trailer looks so real and powerful and very very relevant. Powerful move for HBOMAX.”.
