It’s been three years since DC’s ‘Justice League’ hit theatres. Now, in 2021, HBO Max will be releasing Zack Snyder’s cut of the film. The movie was met with mixed reviews, more notably though, was many believed it was destroyed with reshoots and bizarre one-liners not meant to be in a DC film.
This happened because of a personal tragedy that Snyder and his family had to deal with. He stepped out from the film and Marvel’s ‘Avengers’ director Joss Whedon stepped in to finish the film. This has led many fans to believe that whether intentionally or not, he destroyed Snyder’s original rendition.
For years, fans have been asking for Snyder’s version of his film, and now, it’s actually coming to life.
HBO Max’s ‘Justice League’ – The Snyder Cut Is Coming Next Year – What Can We Expect?
Zack Snyder hosted a watch party of his film ‘Man of Steel’ with thousands of fans joining in. Henry Cavill himself even joined into “crash” the party. Afterward, they hosted a Q&A with fans and of course, the biggest question on everyone’s mind came up. “When are you going to release your cut of ‘Justice League?”. To which Snyder responded by asking Cavill, “I don’t know, what do you say?”. Cavill said, “I reckon you should share it.” Snyder says, “Get ready, we’re doing it.”
This has caused the DC fandom to explode, and now HBO Max has picked it up to share with everyone. It will be released next year and we will be able to see what Snyder’s original plan and story was for ‘Justice League’, which may also reignite the flame of the DCEU. Surely, Batman’s jokey one-liners won’t be there, we can expect to see more of Joe Magnellio’s Deathstroke and it’s been confirmed that Darkseid will show up!
