Sam Ryder nailed a hole-in-one during a golf tournament in Arizona and the reaction from the crowd came straight out of the movie ‘Happy Gilmore’. The typical golf clap was completely gone as Ryder sank the hole-in-one, and instead, a hail of beer cans came ascending down upon him.
You can see the crazy moment from Saturday at the Waste Management Phoenix Open below where Ryder got showered with beer cans.

Golfer Sam Ryder Showered In Beer After Scoring A Crazy Hole-In-One!
Ryder teed off from the 16th hole, a par 3 and at just 124 yards sailed the ball beautifully into the hole. It could not have gotten any better. You can tell how awesome it was by the reaction of the crowd. Normally, this type of thing may be looked down upon on golf, however, the Phoenix Open has a bit of a reputation, so this could almost have been expected.
Of course, the comparisons to Adam Sandler’s ‘Happy Gilmore’ film came in by the truckload and it’s easy to see how Ryder achieved a similar reaction from the crows.
The course was completely littered with beer cans and we can only imagine how long it took to clean that all up! Though, let’s be honest, it was completely worth it! The photos are like something from a movie and it’s hard to believe it was real life today.
Congratulations to Ryder for that amazing hole-in-one. That will be a moment he’ll remember forever, especially once the beer starts flying onto the course! Ironically, they seem to have a sponsor (Waste Management) who could probably take care of those cans with no problem. Way to go Phoenix!
