It’s no secret that Netflix’s ‘The Witcher’ plays with the stories from the books from Andrzej Sapkowski, though they do try to bring in whatever they can from the books and video games for the fans. As a fan of the novels (and a man who owns the box set), I was overjoyed when I saw Nivellen from ‘The Last Wish’ will make an appearance in season two!

Nivellen is the cursed man who lives in the secluded house with whom Geralt has a long conversation over dinner with. The story is interesting, and as we learn more about Nivellen, the more we grow to like him, though his history may be a bit dark! Take a look at the teaser below that was uploaded with the following description!

“Geralt reconnects with his old friend Nivellen in this exclusive clip from The Witcher Season 2, premiering December 17 on Netflix.”

Fans commented on the teaser, “So thrilled about the next season. The voice of Geralt is seriously intoxicating!”, “Yay Tormund! He’s a good actor and he looks cool as Nivellen.”, “Netflix announced there’ll be a season 3, i’m seriously hyped right now !”, “The caracther looks amazing and well detailed: good job Netflix”, “I better be hearing nivellen saying “Pox” in a few scenes, and seeing a bruxa naked on top of a dolphin. Love this short story.”, “I didn’t think this part of the story would make It into the series. Pleasant surprise.” and “December 17 can’t come sooner. Toss a coin to your witcher!”

I am overjoyed to see a live-action Nivellen, this short story is one of my favorites and instantly got me hooked into the series.

Netflix’s ‘The Witcher’ season two will be released on December 17th!
