Netflix’s ‘The Witcher’ season two has wrapped production! The crew, led by showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich shared some behind-the-scenes footage as they finished up shooting for the second season. Through 15 locations, almost 90 cast members, and 1200 crew members, they were able to complete the second season safely.

Fans have been waiting for the second season for over a year, and the first ended with such an enormous battle that we’ve been dying to see what happens next! Unfortunately, we didn’t get a release date but fans did start commenting on the video, “Henry Cavill made the closing speech is exactly why I love the man, The Legend, The White Wolf himself!”, “Can’t wait what did geralt response to ciri when she asked “who’s yennefer?” HAHAHAHAHAHA”, “Season 2 was delayed because Geralt was doing side mission”, “Henry, Anya and Freya look so good. And damn the sets and locations… I can’t wait.” and “Shooting a series in 15 location in the middle of a pandemic, that’s boss level.”
As a fan of the show, I anxiously await the release of the new season and will have to settle with rewatching the first season over again to get back into ‘The Witcher’ zone! All we know is that it will release this year, and if I had to guess, I’d assume it would be sometime this Summer.
