‘General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate that Avery Jerome-Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) went missing for a while. The question is, was this just a harmless mistake or is this part of a set-up? Or was there a message behind this?
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Easy Target
Avery is the daughter of Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). The paternity of Avery was in question for a while because Ava slept with Sonny and his son Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) on the same day. It was finally determined that Sonny is Ava’s father.
While there have been some custody disputes, both of her parents have been involved in her life. Since they both love and care about her, this makes her an easy target for those who want to get something from her parents.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Terrible Moments
When Avery disappeared at the park, Ava and is alerted to this by the nanny Pilar (Brenda Barberena). The police are called, and they start scouring the park. Ava is frantic, believing that her child has been kidnapped. Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) doesn’t believe they need to jump to the conclusion that it was kidnapping. Maybe Avery just wandered off.
Ava believes it was kidnapping because she has been under pressure by Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) to collect evidence against Sonny Corthinos. He has been threatening her and Austin Holt (Roger Howarth) and is now turning up the heat. They still haven’t collected what he needs, and Ava believes that he could be behind it.
Apparently, Pilar turned her back on Avery at the playground for a few seconds when she thought her grandmother was calling. The call turned out to be a telemarketer, but when she turned around, Avery was gone.
Finally, Austin shows up with Avery. He says he was jogging by when he saw Avery alone by the pond. She had seen some balloons and was trying to catch them. He got one for her and then walked her back to the playground, concerned for her safety.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Part of a Bigger Plan
The missing child alert is cancelled, and everyone is thankful that Avery is okay. The young girl is warned to not go anywhere alone again. Pilar is apologetic and feels terrible, but Sonny tells her it is okay.
Ava is furious with Austin for setting this up and not telling her. The question is, did he do this to help Ava realize how seriously she needs to take him? Or was this orchestrated just to get Pilar to lose her job.
Pilar needs to be gone from Sonny’s so that Ava has the opportunity to collect the evidence that Mason demands. Will Ava now demand that Pilar lose her job? And will Sonny agree? What do you think? Share your thoughts below.
