‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers for the week of December 30th reveal there’s a lot of bad blood to close out 2019 in Port Charles. One of these, in particular, surprised us. There’s also a budding romance, as well as a big shock apparently on the way for the town. Let’s take a look at how things will play out in the final week of the year.

‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Man of action

Expect the Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) tension to get worse. As we pointed out in the daily spoilers for Monday, they’ve had a rough year. And the suspicion and secrets seem to come to a head, as we watched a big blowup happen during the daily preview.

‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal that the weekly promo continues this theme. Sonny will tell Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) he doesn’t, “let things happen.” He acts. We’re anticipating problems between him and Jason as well. He saw Jason and Carly talking last week, and didn’t appear happy.

‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Valentin’s out of control

We know that Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) been in danger for a while now. His daughter scam is known to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), and he’s had most of the two looking to join #TeamDestroyValentin. While Ava Jerome (Maura West) appeared to do him a favor by destroying the highly-coveted portrait of disinheritance, it looks like things won’t stay calm long. We see Valentin grab Ava in the weekly promo, and he tells her, “You’re not going anywhere.” We’re guessing he might still have suspicions about this painting he wants to clear up.

In other news, Ava won’t be the only one having issues with him this week. In a bit of a surprising twist, we see Valentin fighting with Peter August (Wes Ramsey). Considering these two were bonding at the Wedding From Hell over their mutual secrets, we don’t know what starts that. But we’ll be looking forward to seeing who comes out the winner. We’re hoping for Peter, just because Valentin’s been annoying us longer.

    ‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Big shock

We also have a bunch of reaction shots in this promo. Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) and Laura Webber (Genie Francis), in particular, look shocked. Could we finally see the truth come out about Nikolas Cassadine’s (Marcus Coloma) return? We’ll have to tune in to see.

Elsewhere, we see shots of Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Dev Cerci (Ashton Arbab) kissing, as well as Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) looking upset, and a shot of Wiley. Will that truth finally come out, or will we be starting 2020 with the baby secret still under wraps? Stay tuned.
