‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers suggest that Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) may help Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) raise her baby, even if the child she’s carrying belongs to Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner).
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Isaiah Seems to be Truly Falling in Love with Portia
Portia discovered she’s pregnant, and she hadn’t planned to tell either man. However, when Portia collapsed a week or so ago, he found out that he may be a father.
We admit Portia has been through the wringer lately, having to contend with Curtis’s arrest, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) ratting her out, and not knowing who the father of her baby is.
She’s also in the middle of a messy divorce. It’s no wonder she fell to her knees in pain over the stress she’s endured.
Isaiah asked Portia if she would have been honest with him. She assured him that she lied about her child’s paternity a long time ago and had no intention of doing it again.
Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) spent years thinking that Marc Taggert (Real Andrews) was her father. Portia had an affair with Curtis outside of her marriage and ended up pregnant with Trina.
Isaiah is genuinely falling in love with Portia. Right now, she’s enjoying his company. The two of them even had a sweet little Thanksgiving together in her office, eating granola bars (the good ones).
Portia is waiting until her first trimester to have a paternity test. Her priority right now is the health and well-being of her and her child.
With Trina in the mix, the situation is quite complicated. Trina doesn’t want her parents to split up. She’s desperate to find a way to keep them together.
Unfortunately, Trina’s parents’ marriage had long been over. Curtis feels like he can’t trust Portia. She’s lied to him too many times and kept secrets from him.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Curtis Wants to Get Back Together with Jordan
With Isaiah, at least Portia can have a fresh start. A new relationship, a baby, and a new life ripe with possibilities are exactly what Portia needs.
While we don’t see Curtis leaving the picture, he’s in love with his ex-wife, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper), and is determined to be with her.
He’s championing this divorce, and, in a sense, Portia always knew that Curtis’s feelings for Jordan never went away.
In this situation, we feel for Portia because it was really none of Jordan’s business to insert herself into the mess and tell Curtis that Portia is pregnant.
When it comes to Jordan, Portia never stood a chance. She’s had a difficult time playing second fiddle to Jordan in her own marriage, and Isaiah gives Portia the attention she craves.
In reality, Portia was waiting for the other shoe to drop with Curtis. Portia also isn’t exactly thrilled about Jordan helping to raise her baby if she stays with Curtis and he turns out to be the dad.
That said, we have a feeling that even if this baby belongs to Curtis, Isaiah will 100 percent support Portia and help her with her new bundle of joy.
Portia needs to be done with Curtis and let him go. She could build a beautiful life with Isaiah, who’s been her anchor throughout the whole ordeal.
