‘General Hospital’ spoilers suggest that Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) may help Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebuad) obtain her Huntington’s disease medication.
Lucas seemed very concerned about Britt’s well-being once he overheard Sidwell talking about keeping Britt in line.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Lucas Went Back to Wyndemere to Confront Marco About What He Overheard
In the February 11th episode of GH, Lucas eavesdropped on a conversation between Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and his boyfriend, Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo), when he returned to Wyndemere to retrieve his cell phone.
Marco thought that Lucas’s sister, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), could spell trouble for them, but Sidwell made some comment about them having a “new way to keep Britt under control.”
Oh, and Sidwell mentioned that he and Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) are only administering Britt one dose of her life-sustaining medicine at a time until she completes the project.
He opened up to his close pal, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), and she told him to pack his bags and get the heck out of dodge.
Lucas returned to Wyndemere to confront his boyfriend, who claimed that the project he was working on with his father would be his last.
So, Lucas went to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) to eat some crow. He finally apologized to her for blowing up at her when she warned him not to move to Wyndemere.
However, he’s apparently not learned his lesson yet, as he believes Sidwell took advantage of Marco’s mother’s death to get him to cooperate.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Lucas Understands Britt’s Situation with Sidwell is Life Or Death
Marco admitted to Lucas that he wants “justice” because he blames Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) for his mother, Natalia Ramirez’s (Eva LaRue) death.
So, since Lucas now understands that Britt’s life depends on this medicine, maybe he’ll decide to help Britt with her situation. Lucas specifically asked about Britt and obviously wants to know what she’s being forced to do against her will.
Right now, Lucas is blinded by love and believes Marco’s lies. However, within a few episodes, that may change.
Besides, Lucas knows that Marco spent months lying through his teeth about not being a part of his father’s business. He’s in a postition to wonder what he really knows about his boyfriend.
Unfortunately, he’s ignoring all these glaring red flags because he thinks he’s in love. For all we know, Marco could turn out to be just as nefarious as his father.
Lucas could soon realize how neck-deep Marco is in Sidwell’s crimes and decide to do the right thing and help Britt gain access to her medicine.
Think about it. Lucas is a doctor who devotes his life to helping others. He literally lives for the express purpose of saving people’s lives. Plus, he’s a genuinely caring person.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Lucas Helps People for a Living: He Doesn’t Want Britt to Die
Even though Britt and Lucas aren’t exactly close, he definitely doesn’t want Britt to be one of Sidwell’s casualties. He may go to great lengths to get his hands on those meds for Britt.
Lucas may even team up with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) to obtain those drugs. That said, in the February 17th episode of GH, we saw Sidwell tell creepy Pascal (Marc Forget) that if Lucas tried to get Marco to move out, he would console Marco at Lucas’s funeral.
The man is dangerous. Sidwell shot and killed Professor Henry Dalton (Daniel Goddard) in front of Britt. She’s literally walking around town terrified.
It’s going to be a high-stakes attempt, but Lucas may go down to check out the catacombs and get Britt her meds. Right now, she has to inject herself in front of these lunatics, which is demeaning.
Britt is desperate to get out of this mess. Jason promised her he would set her free from this nightmare. Between Lucas and Jason, it’s only a matter of time before someone tries to help Britt. She needs those meds to save her life.
