Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is one of ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers’ favorite characters, but for the last couple of years she’s been on a rush to hate that isn’t healthy, and it’s been frustrating at times.
Like Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), she was deeply hurt that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) chose Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) over their mother, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).
It makes sense since Sonny was a major steadying force in their lives for years, but they both too the hurt deep into their hearts and looked at it as a personal betrayal.
Michael eventually got over from one episode to another thanks to the magic of lazy writing, but Joss held true to their mom’s teaching of never letting go of one’s hate.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers – Always Sonny’s fault
It didn’t matter what happened, whenever someone got hurt and it had any ties to Sonny Joss instantly went on the attack and tried to get everyone to pile on.
Her mom tried to get her to let go of her pain several times, and even Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) tried to help her but it was easier for her to hate than to let herself hurt and heal.
After Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) was shot because John Cates (Adam J. Harrington) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) got into a pushing contest over doing her job and they rushed in and he pursued the shooters, Joss tried to dump it all on Sonny.
Never mind there was no reason for the police to be here and they helped mess things up, not to mention Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) wasn’t monitoring it like he was supposed to, it was Sonny’s fault and no one else’s.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers – Willow steps up
While Joss was getting her rant going, Willow Tate (Katelyn MacMullen) stepped up and told Joss it sounded like she was substituting anger for her fear, and Joss admitted when Dante’s heart stopped she was worried they killed him.
This is a huge, and ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers mean HUGE breakthrough for Joss as she started to open up and admit what was troubling her.
This needed to happen over a year ago, but everyone stuck their heads in the sand and placated her and allowed her to go about her business without a second look.
Sure, stuff happened, but it really shows a breakdown in her family and friends that no one pushed her on this more or no one realized what was happening.
It’s not like she was hiding how she felt, but now maybe some healing can take place and she can move on and wait to wear the Hypocrite Queen crown another day.
Is Joss’ breakthrough a good first step or will she refuse to take another step to heal? Let us know in the comments below and check back with ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
