‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers show that William Lipton (Cameron Webber) recently spoke about his possible return and gave fans an idea of his situation and when and if he will be back. Cameron got offered a soccer scholarship to Standford University and many viewers were scared that it meant he would be gone from the show for good.
Recently he’s been a bit of a fan-favorite and so not many people wanted to say goodbye to this character. As Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) shared a goodbye party and struggled with the thought of him moving, we as the viewers felt that pain.

We’re sad to say that unfortunately, he will be leaving the show so it is coming up soon, however, there is some good news. Apparently, his exit is only temporary.
Lipton revealed that it would not be a permanent decision and is a sophomore in college just like his character, so he will return again this summer.
He also continued to say that he was thankful for all the fan support and he couldn’t wait to be back. Many fans reached out to him on social media saying that they were going to miss the actor and can’t wait to see him on again.
Thankfully, this wasn’t as bad as we expected it to be and we’re glad that we will get to see him again this summer. We wonder if he will have a bunch of fun stories to tell us and what kind of storyline he could be involved in. Perhaps he’ll bring someone home from college!
