‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal that Lucas Jones (Van Hasis) may sue Willow Tait Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) for custody of Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) if Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) is gone.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Wiley Was Raised By Lucas And Brad For The First Year Of His Life
Chad Duell is set to leave the soap shortly after the New Year. He could exit the canvas in several ways, but what if he mysteriously disappears?
That would leave Wiley with his adoptive mother, Willow, but one person who may challenge that scenario is Lucas. For the first year of his life, Wiley was raised by Lucas and Brad Cooper (Perry Shen).
Years ago, Lucas and Brad had adopted Willow’s baby, but the baby was a victim of SIDS and passed away in his sleep. After Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) gave birth to her baby, Nelle asked him to switch the babies. Desperate to keep the truth from Lucas, Brad agreed.
Her baby belonged to Michael, but she told Michael that the child, whom they had named Jonah, had died. When Lucas came home, he met Jonah. The whole charade lasted for about a year.
When Lucas learned the child was Michael’s, he wanted nothing to do with Brad. Michael’s son was finally given to him. Lucas was devastated that he couldn’t keep Wiley but handed him over to Michael without a fight.
Fast-forward to today, and Willow, who married Michael and legally adopted Wiley, cheated on Michael with Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison).
At the Quartermaine Christmas party, a video of Drew and Willow’s romp on the floor of Scout Quartermaine’s (Cosette Abinante) was played for everyone to see.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Lucas Lashes Out At Willow For Cheating
Spoilers for December 26th indicate that an enraged Lucas will stop by to see Willow and lash out at her for cheating with Drew. Lucas is obviously still invested in making sure that Wiley has a stable, loving home. Willow tells Lucas he has no right to judge her, but Lucas holds Willow and Drew accountable for their actions.
Willow’s “Snow White” image is obviously just a distant memory now. No one is taking her side in this situation, as she doesn’t even seem to care that she hurt Michael.
The night the video was played, Willow took the kids and left the gatehouse. She left Michael alone to sting from the fresh wound. Michael could break down and depart Port Charles, leaving everything behind. Since Duell is leaving the soap, anything is possible.
Lucas may come to regret letting go of Wiley, and it’s possible he might not have ever formally signed over his rights to Wiley, which means he might have a good case if he decided to sue Willow for custody.
Lucas truly cares about what’s best for Wiley and may fight for custody. If he hired Killer Miller (aka Diane Miller, played by Carolyn Hennesy), she’d eviscerate Willow in court. He could also make it a point to make sure Willow doesn’t get to see him.
Whatever the case, it’s a big mess. If Lucas were to win custody of Wiley, it could even bring him and Brad back together. Anything is possible in Port Charles.
