‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers bring to light that Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) has had to contend with two enormous tragedies in a short span of time.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Kristina Lost Her Baby And Her Sister
First, she lost her baby, Adela/Irene, after she fell three stories from Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) hotel room at the Metro Court.
Kristina had decided to confront Ava. Ava had subpoenaed her to testify against her father, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), in an upcoming custody case.
Things got heated between Kristina and Ava, and when Ava refused to cancel the subpoena, Kristina started threatening her. She told her she would advise the court that Ava killed Connie Falconeri (Kelly Sullivan) and Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig).
The fall occurred when Ava tried to put her hand on Kristina’s shoulder, and mother-to-be stepped back and tripped on Agent John “Jagger” Cates’s (Adam Harrington) bag, which sent her crashing through the window and into the Metro Court pool.
The injuries she sustained almost killed her, and her little girl died, which was heartbreaking. Kristina blames Ava because she reached out to put her hands on Kristina, and she believes the accident wouldn’t have happened if not for Ava’s actions.
Next, she lost her sister, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco). Sam died after donating a portion of her liver to Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins), and someone at the hospital gave her a fatal dose of digitalis.
Kristina and Ava are in the midst of a nasty legal dispute. Kristina wants Ava to go to prison for killing her baby. However, Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst), her attorney, has a few tricks up his sleeve. He vowed to Ava that he would win her case.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Kristina Is A Loose Cannon
When Kristina took the stand, Ric buried her by proving to the court that she was volatile, impulsive, and a loose cannon. Kristina crumbled when Ric insisted that Kristina herself was the reason her child died.
If Ric tanks Kristina’s case, it could be enough to push Kristina over the edge. We know she’s in severe pain and anguish, so she’s not thinking clearly. She hasn’t dealt with Sam’s death, nor has she processed the death of her baby, for that matter.
If Ava is acquitted of the murder of her baby, Kristina could snap and go to Ava with intent to harm. Kristina often acts before thinking of the consequences, and she could do something to Ava out of anger.
Kristina promised Sam she would seek help for all the trauma she’s endured, but Sam is gone, and with her death goes a vital source of support for Kristina. Plus, Kristina loved Sam very much, which weighed heavily on her heart.
She likely won’t go to someone like Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom). She may take matters into her own hands with Ava and retaliate for the death of her baby girl.
Ava’s life may be in jeopardy. If Ava doesn’t get jail time, Kristina might make another poor choice that could ruin her life. Remember, Kristina is Sonny’s daughter, and she could be more like him than she knows. Sonny never gets mad; he gets even.
