‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has repeatedly warned Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) to stay away from Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure), but Carly, being Carly, hasn’t listened.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Jason Is A Good Judge Of Character
Recently, Brennan insinuated at Drew Quartermaine‘s (Cameron Mathison) election victory party that Carly should use Drew’s influence and power since he’s been elected as Congressman.
Carly was disgusted and appalled, saying that Drew was a friend and she wouldn’t use him that way. She told him how Drew had gone to prison to protect her.
Brennan thinks Drew used her to climb the ladder. Carly wonders if Jack is using her. He responds that the only thing he wants from Carly is to spend time with her.
Brennan may genuinely enjoy Carly’s company, but there must be a reason why Jason is so adamant that she stays away from him.
Jason is a good judge of character, and his main concern is Carly’s well-being. Jason, who’s dealt with plenty of less-than-honorable men, either senses that Jack is bad news or he knows something about him.
Either way, his motivation is to protect his ride-or-die bestie. Brennan recently offered Jason a job with the WSB. The last thing Jason wants is to work for someone like Brennan, but he may make a deal with Brennan: he’ll join the organization if Brennan agrees not to pursue Carly in any way.
That may be a tall order, considering Carly typically goes to Jack for favors. When Jason was in Africa, she visited him, and Carly knew Jason was in danger.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Carly Has Gone To Brennan For Favors
Knowing he’s a man who knows how to get the job done, Carly rushed into Brennan’s office and asked him to help her save Jason and company. Jack ordered a drone strike to save them.
He did this for her without asking for anything in return. Carly also went to Brennan for help when Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) was kidnapped. However, his interest in Jason has piqued our curiosity.
Jason may start to see that Brennan’s relationship with Carly is getting too close for comfort, and he’ll do what it takes to keep her from getting in too deep.
Jason agreeing to work for the WSB could lead to all sorts of fun storylines, and it would be a much more creative arc than Jason going back to work for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and the mob.
Besides, it could help him acquire a legit gig to raise Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn). Being in close contact with Brennan will allow Jason to keep an eye on his connection with Carly.
Jason isn’t the only one who warned Carly. Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), who has a history with him, also warned her to stay away from him.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Jack Was The Head Of Pikeman
We all know Brennan was the head of Pikeman. He came to Port Charles with an ax to grind, and for a while, he was even after Sonny. He was in prison because of his association with Pikeman and was somehow magically released and placed at the head of the WSB again. So there’s a story there.
Conversely, he is also why Carly was saved from going to prison when the FBI’s incriminating recording of her was deleted. She doesn’t yet know that Brennan is her guardian angel.
We can’t wait to learn more about Brennan and why everyone thinks he’s dangerous. No matter what, Jason will have to convince Carly not to get close to the handsome and charming Jack Brennan. However, she’s determined to get to know him better.
