‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Will Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) Target Michael After His Betrayal?

‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers are loving the different possibilities that could be coming our way in the next week or so with the big reveal of who told the SEC about Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison)’s insider trading.

There are so many ways the news can come out and all of them will have some kind of far reaching ramifications depending on the choices made in the next few episodes, but one that’ll be curious to see is Drew’s reaction.

We know he’ll come back from Australia bewildered it wasn’t Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) that turned them in, and angry that it was Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).

It’s understandable since he nearly died in prison, but we don’t think Nina will be the only one he’s going to have an issue with.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers – Michael’s the new target

Drew made it no secret he intended to take over ELQ from Ned before he left, and ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers assumed that’s in retaliation for Ned calling the SEC.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers could be wrong since he and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) intended to push Ned out before, so Drew may just have to switch his drive in that matter but the goal could still be in sight.

At least, until he learns Michael gave half of his voting shares to Ned on condition that Ned never tells anyone about Nina calling the SEC.

Even though the week’s spoilers make it look like Ned’s about to squeal, we doubt he will because then he’ll lose controlling interest in ELQ.

And this bit of information will make Michael Drew’s number one enemy.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers – Not going to end well

With one move to ensure his wife and son are happy, Michael undermined Drew’s plan for revenge on Ned, not to mention their previous plan to take ELQ from him, and this could be one betrayal too much for Drew.

And given Michael was ready to commit a far worse sin than Nina did by sending his father to prison for life, we expect Drew to get ahold of that information or at least the proof it happened at some point and that should prove interesting.

Of course, there’s also the possibility Drew will be completely understanding now that he’s on Carly’s leash and won’t want to upset her by going after her son.

It’ll rob us of a great potential storyline with him dealing with not knowing who to trust, but it happens.

Do you think we’ll see Drew and Michael lock horns, or will this be a missed opportunity? Let us know in the comments below and check back with ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
