‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers suggest that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure have a little “will they or won’t they?” mutual attraction.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Brennan And Carly Met At Bobbie’s Last Year
From the moment Carly and Brennan met, they had chemistry. The pair met last December at Bobbie’s, and he said he was in the mood for a good burger.
They flirted and started to become close until he tried to kidnap her and was subsequently arrested and carted off to Pentonville.
Despite several warnings from others, Carly couldn’t bring herself to stay away from Brennan. She visited him while he was in prison to ask for his advice when she was in serious trouble, and he gave her some helpful information.
Uncoincidentally, when Brennan was sprung from prison and reinstated as the head of the WSB, he deleted an incriminating recording the FBI had in their possession and saved her from going to prison herself. But Carly still doesn’t know that yet. They have been in each other’s orbit ever since.
They obviously have “caught feelings” for each other but don’t want to admit it, and fans love the tension between them.
Their “friendship” has also hit a roadblock because Carly planted a bug in Brennan’s office to help Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) find Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez).
The government spy was furious that Carly would betray his trust and wasn’t shy about calling her out.
“I never thought I would have to protect myself from you,”
He said.
Of course, Carly countered that he lied to her about not knowing Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) whereabouts. However, Brennan revealed that he only had Valentin’s burner phone number and didn’t know where he was.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Brennan Has Always Come Through For Carly
Carly only planted the bug to prove that Anna was wrong about Brennan. However, no explanation would have lessened his disappointment. But he’s so let down because he has developed feelings for her.
Things went from bad to worse when Carly brought Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) into his office to confront him, as she was desperate to find Charlotte.
Carly may have experienced momentary disappointment, but Brennan has always come through for her. When Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), Lucky Spencer (Johnathan Jackson), and Anna were in danger in Africa, he ordered a drone strike, which saved them.
He also helped Carly rescue Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) when Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rotta) kidnapped her to retrieve the jewels her mother, Holly Sutton (Emma Samms), stole from him.
Brennan has proven himself reliable in urgent situations, and there’s no reason to believe he isn’t telling the truth where Valentin is concerned.
Carly may realize she made a mistake in violating his trust. She could do something very “un-Carly” and apologize and admit she was wrong.
After months of dancing around it, it could lead to them finally admitting their feelings for one another. One person who won’t be on board with Carly pursuing a romance with the handsome head of the WSB is Jason. But Carly does what Carly wants; in this case, we’re rooting for Carly to “woo” Brennan.
