‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers tease that a triangle may be forming between Ava Jerome (Maura West), Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst), and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn).
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: With Ric On Ava’s Side, She Can’t Lose
Ava and Ric didn’t know each other before the art gallery owner’s BFF, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), set her up with the hotshot attorney.
Ava needed a good lawyer to defend her when Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) sued her for her epic plummet three stories out of Ava’s window in her hotel suite.
The fall resulted in the loss of Kristina’s baby, and she promptly blamed Ava. Also, Ava is gearing up for battle, as none other than Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), the brother Ric despises, is set to fight her for custody of Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola).
Ava clearly has a crush on Ric, and their intimate dinners strategizing on her case were riveting. However, Nina warned Ava Ric is a scrupulous man with a complicated history, which only draws her to him even more.
Ric still has feelings for his ex-wife, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), but this could soon change. Ava and Ric have an easy, natural chemistry. The martini-drinking vixen hasn’t been this perfectly matched with someone in a long time. We think they would make a compelling couple to root for.
Ava was moved that Ric believed her when she told him she would never push a pregnant woman out the window. Everyone who thinks she’s the town pariah can go to hell. With Ric on her side, she can’t lose.
Ava and Ric almost kissed on Christmas Eve, but they were interrupted by Alexis, who called Ric to come to her house and decorate the home for their daughter, Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos), to lift her spirits.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Ric And Alexis Have A Problematic History
Unlike Ric and Ava, Ric and Alexis who have a problematic history. They were married years ago, but their marriage ended when Ric slept with Alexis’s daughter, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco).
Sam believed Alexis wanted to give her up when she was a baby and was seeking revenge. Sam and Alexis eventually developed a solid relationship as mother and daughter, but Alexis never forgave Ric for his deception.
The night Alexis asked Ric to help her decorate, Ric tried to use some mistletoe to steal a kiss, but she comically knocked it out of his hands. It was a highly amusing and lighthearted moment.
A triangle between Ava, Ric, and Alexis would be entertaining, as the relationship between Ava and Alexis is particularly contentious.
Ava is responsible for Alexis losing her law license. Granted, she was reinstated as a lawyer, but for years, she couldn’t practice the profession that was her true calling.
Ava wanted revenge on Alexis for how she treated her brother, Julian Jerome (William deVry), but Ava had it backward. Julian and Alexis were also married, and Julian kidnapped his wife. He held a dagger to her throat and threatened to kill her. Maybe it’s a Jerome thing.
That being said, we would love to see an Ava, Ric, Alexis triangle. These three actors are lightning in a bottle, which would be fun to watch.
