General Hospital spoilers suggest that Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) was the woman Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) saw board the plane.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Britt Must Have Survived “The Hook.”
We are now fully convinced Britt survived her “death” somehow. We watched in tears as Britt supposedly passed away in her mother’s arms.
However, since this is a soap, it’s highly possible that Britt managed to live after being attacked by “the Hook.” We don’t think this woman is a twin or a doppelganger, and we don’t think she’s a clone.
Rumors were swirling that those were strong possibilities since Britt’s death appeared so final. But we believe she’s truly the real deal!
Typically, when a soap has the same actor portray a new role after their character has either died or left town, none of the characters recognize the new character or make comparisons.
The fact is that soaps don’t usually acknowledge it unless the new character is related to the former one.
Jason clearly recognized the woman as Britt; otherwise, he wouldn’t have gone to the trouble of getting on a plane himself to try to find her.
Another reason is that the show wouldn’t have gone out of its way to bring up Britt’s connection to Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr).
Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) could have gotten her revenge on Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Breuning) some other way.
However, it was written into the script for Brook Lynn to dig up ancient history about Britt being the woman who gave birth to Rocco.
Why would the writers even do that unless the woman Jason saw was really Britt? There wouldn’t be much of a reason to dredge up that story.

GH also brought back Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati). Rocco e-mailed Britt’s mother to learn more about the woman whom Jason described in such a positive light.
He’s especially curious since his mother, Lulu, told him that Britt was basically evil. Granted, Britt stole Lulu and Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) embryo and Obrecht implanted it into Britt.
Britt pretended that the baby belonged to her and Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson). The truth was eventually revealed, and Rocco was returned to Lulu and Dante, but not before Obrecht kidnapped the boy.
Britt worked hard to change and become a better person. Jason saw the good in her, and they became romantically involved.
Finally, we also believe that when Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) told Jason that he deserved to have someone to share his life with, it makes sense for that person to be Britt.
Jason and Britt didn’t have the chance to have a real relationship because Jason had to marry Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).
Carly and Jason thought that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was dead and had to marry to protect his mafia business and their family.
We saw Jason take a walk down memory lane while on the plane en route to Britt’s location. The sudser wouldn’t have done that unless there were a reunion in store for viewers who were cheated out of seeing Britt and Jason get together. Kelly Thiebaud’s return is a long time coming.
We think Britt is about to rock Jason’s world, as well as Port Charles.
