‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal that some GH fans suspect that Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinate) shot her father, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Scout Has Suffered Because of Drew
While most fans think Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) is the culprit, Scout may have the most motive, means, and opportunity to shoot Drew.
We could obviously picture Drew not wanting to turn Willow in and instead pinning the crime on Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson).
However, Scout has suffered the most because of Drew. Ever since Scout’s beloved mother, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), passed away, Drew has been the only parent in Scout’s life.
He’s been a particularly lousy parent. He issued restraining orders on Scout’s family, keeping the child from seeing her grandmother, aunts, and brothers.
Granted, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) worked out a deal with Drew that, if she represents Willow in court, he’ll lift the ban on Scout seeing the rest of her family, with the exception of Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzn).
Scout adores her brother and has been lonely and miserable ever since Drew decided she was not allowed to spend time with her family.
Remember, before Drew was shot, Scout was isolated from everyone except Drew. The little girl has numerous reasons to be upset with her father.
We can imagine Scout being so traumatized over her mom’s death that she shot her own father. She may not have even realized the gravity of what she was doing.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Scout’s Ringtone Was Playing the Night Drew Was Shot
When Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) discussed what happened the night Drew was shot, one key detail stood out to them.
They heard Drew’s phone ring, and the ringtone was “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star,” which is the ringtone that Drew had set for Scout.
It’s conceivable that Scout may have decided she couldn’t tolerate Drew keeping her away from her family and couldn’t handle it anymore.
Maybe it was Scout’s phone ringing, and she became scared and left. Whomever shot Drew also used a gun from the late Edward Quartermaine’s (John Ingle) personal collection.
Scout could have easily gotten her little hands on that gun and shot Drew. Additionally, the peacock soap, Days of Our Lives, recently featured a similar storyline.
Salem baddie, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel), was shot, kicking off a whodunit. Finally, it was revealed that EJ’s young niece shot her own uncle.
It was a shocking twist that had viewers on the edge of their seats. We think GH may do something similar with their who shot Drew Cain whodunit and make Scout the shooter.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Scout Had a Wonderful Life and a Blended Family When She Lived with Sam
It would be interesting if, all this time when everyone suspected Willow and Michael potentially framed her, Scout was the one who pulled the trigger.
We also think Willow is the red herring in this storyline, just like Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) was the red herring in the DOOL whodunit.
Scout may very well be the culprit. After all, if Drew were gone, she could see her family and her brother, Danny.
When Scout lived with Sam, she had this wonderful blended family that included Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), her brother, Danny, and her brother by heart, Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr).
Scout’s life with Sam was good for her. Whereas her life with Drew is miserable. Scout deserves a much better father than Drew, and, while it may sound harsh, we honestly wouldn’t blame the little girl one bit if she thought she would be happier without him.
