‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal that Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) wants Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) to stay on at Deception as the “face” of the company. What is behind Tracy’s use of her 51% majority to force this on Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring)? Why is she demanding that Sasha remain the model?
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Bad PR
Sasha Corbin has been a PR nightmare for Deception. She experienced a mental breakdown and struggled with substance abuse issues. Most recently, her erratic behavior was not her fault. Her guardian, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) was trying to keep her under her guardianship.
Gladys got the help of Dr. Damon Montague (Darin Toonder) to keep Sasha unstable. He purposefully gave her medication that interfered with the anti-depressants.
She shoplifted from a store which trusted her as a Deception model. Then she stabbed Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) in public at the Metro Court pool when she thought he was Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).
Sasha ended up being sent to the Ferncliff Hospital for the Criminally Insane. Dr. Montague kept drugging her there until she was finally rescued by Cody with the help of Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco).
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: New Model
With all these situations, Lucy was interested in replacing Sasha. Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) didn’t feel so great about it because Sasha is her friend.
Lucy has been pushy about it though and wants to sign Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez). She is a famous singer and has a large social media following. That would be positive for Deception.
They have offered Blaze a contract and she is considering signing with them. When Maxie went to talk to Sasha about the situation, she found that Sasha is packing up to move to Austin, Texas.
Sasha wants a fresh start and needs to get away from Port Charles. Maxie doesn’t want her to go, but since Sasha is intent upon moving, she didn’t have to say anything about Deception.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Calling the Shots
But then, Tracy Quartermaine shows up. She informs Lucy and Maxie that they can’t make such significant decisions without her input. Tracy has a controlling interest in the company. She demands that they resign Sasha as the face of Deception.
Why is Tracy so interested in keeping Sasha on? Does she really care about what Sasha has gone through?
Tracy typically isn’t known as empathetic person and especially if that decision could hurt the bottom line of the company that she just took over. Is she doing this just to keep Lucy Coe in line? What do you think?
