‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal there’s a lot of drama to go around in Port Charles. There’s the custody fight, the Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) situation, Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) possible reality check on the way, and more. Still, one thing is the stand out this week. Yes, we know it’s still Friday. However, we’re already willing to call an MVP for this week. Actually, it’s going to be two. So who stole the show? Let’s talk this week’s action.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: First MVP
First off, we’ve made no secret of our new love for Maura West’s portrayal of Ava Jerome. She’s definitely getting the juiciest story right now, and is delivering big-time. There was one thing that really stood out to us. ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal she has made the most troll-worthy (and smart) move in town.
We know that she and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) are out for blood. The Cassadine men pushed too far, so it was only natural that Ava would get even. We expected it to be epic, and it was. This article breaks down what precisely she did. It was a genius move, something that still protects Spencer Cassadine (Nicolas Bechtel) while giving Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) a reason to squirm. Her mix of rage and cool calm was awesome to watch, as well as her having so much power over Nikolas. He knows he screwed up, and there was nothing he could do but take what she dished out. It’s a great thing so see, given what a horrible place she’s been in. About time she got some power back. But there was someone else who’s shining this week.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Runner-Up
We also have made no secret of how much we enjoy Cynthia Watros’ portrayal of Nina. She brings a more likeable vibe to the character, instead of the uppity ice-queen vibe we got before. General Hospital spoilers indicate If there’s anyone who’s has a story to rival Ava’s this week, it’s her. Watros was great Thursday, December 19th. The pain in her voice when she begged Liesl Orbrecht (Kathleen Gait) to tell the truth was well-done. We also love the control she shows around Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), even as she’s filled with anger over his betrayal. We see something good ahead for her, as she now has evidence against Valentin. This will be a huge help for Lulu Spencer’s (Emme Rylan) custody fight. We hope she nails him.
