‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal that maybe there is more going on with Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) stalker situation than meets the eye.
Back in the 80s, Anna Devane was a double agent for two opposing organizations.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Piecing it Together
Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) revealed that the World Security Bureau, WSB, and DVX, for many years, were interconnected, and agents could work between the two.
Anna was recently let go from the WSB, and now she is being terrorized by an unknown stalker.
The first incident that occurred was that there was a shooting at the Metro Court pool.
Then, someone set her beloved house on fire. Anna has said that she believes this is all payback from someone she hurt or wronged during this time.
However, there may be more to the story than just the most logical explanations. The sniper rifle used in the shooting was traced back to the WSB.
Anna thought that maybe the WSB was targeting her. Then, her house burned down while she was out for a run. That was a huge tip-off that this was entirely personal.
Clearly, those responsible wanted to send a strong message that they were not to be messed with.
However, it also appears to be someone who just wants to torment Anna but not necessarily kill her. The person could have even been targeting Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard)
Sonny is someone close to her, and it definitely would have sent a message. There are many possible theories about who may be out to get Anna.
Sonny is still trying to figure out if the shooter at the pool was after him or Anna. He offered her protection, but Anna values her privacy.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Who is After Anna?
The first plausible idea is that ‘General Hospital’ is bringing back Anna’s evil twin sister, Alexandria Marick (Finola Hughes), who is trying to hurt Anna. It is entirely possible that Alex is alive and wants revenge against Anna.
Alex has been known to be like a cockroach; keep bringing her down, and she still manages to survive. She would be the most obvious choice, given her history with Anna.
In their last encounter, Anna shot Alex twice in the stomach. She pulled herself off the Haunted Star and was considered dead, even though her body was never found. She may be working for Pikeman.
Alex could be out for blood to avenge Anna because of the shooting and for Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) death.
Another theory is that it could also be Olivia Jerome (Tonja Walker) pulling the strings. She is, after all, a total psychopath, and she caused Anna to have a miscarriage.
One theory is that Peter is still alive and wants revenge on Anna. If alive, he could be causing mayhem by framing Valentin for torching Anna’s house.
Many fans feel that Peter wore out his welcome in Port Charles. He terrorized too many people and caused too much suffering.
Whoever it is, it would benefit General Hospital if it was a character or villain the fans knew well.
Fans care about Anna but want to see a believable villain that would bring more interest to the storyline.
