‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers tantalize us that Dex Heller’s (Evan Hofer) past is now just starting to be explored despite him having been on the show since May 2022.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Dex Starts to Reveal His Family History to Joss
Dex’s girlfriend, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), hasn’t pushed the subject of Dex’s family until recently. As a matter of fact, she has appeared far more invested in finding out more about Adam Wright (Joshua James Benard).
Dex and Joss also barely have any scenes together where they are fully clothed. Dex’s past and background have, up until today’s episode, seemed of little interest to the lovely young blond.
However, in today’s episode, Dex shoots her down cold when Joss suggests they get a Christmas tree. He explains that he didn’t have such a great childhood, which we already suspected.
Dex has volunteered some information. His father beat up his mother, and his brothers used to beat him up and put him in the hospital, while his “parents” did nothing to stop it.
Recently, a new villain has emerged on the show, and viewers can’t help but be intrigued. Mr. Brennan may be the key to discovering more about Dex.
It has also been confirmed that Mr. Brennan (Charles Measure) is the one who is going after Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).
Naturally, everyone’s curiosity is piqued to learn more about this juicy character. Mr. Brennan’s connections to other characters on the canvas could be closer than fans think.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Dex Could Be Mr. Brennan’s Son
It stands to reason that Dex would have familial ties to someone in Port Charles. Some have said that he may be Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) long-lost son, ditto with Sonny.
However, Dex’s family history has yet to be fully explained. Mr. Brennan’s appearance on GH has had fans wondering if he is somehow Adam’s biological father.
Now, rumors are swirling that he may be related to Dex. It would be interesting if Brennan had abandoned Dex and left him with an abusive father.
Dex may see Mr. Brennan flirting with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and will figure out that Brennan is using Carly to get to Sonny.
He will likely wave the red flag and alert Sonny, only to find out who Brennan is later. Wouldn’t it be something if Sonny discovered Brennan’s connection to Dex and kept it a secret until Dex figured it out?
On the flip side, Dex may very well be yet another long-lost Corinthos brother. It would be predictable, but simultaneously, how much Sonny and Dex have in common is fascinating.
Both of them watched their mothers get beat up. Dex watched his father hit his mother, and Sonny watched his stepfather, “Deke” Woods, hit his mother, Adela Corinthos (Maria Rangel).
The two characters also hated their brothers. Dex hated him for being a “winner takes all” jerk. And Sonny hated his brother, Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst). Let’s not forget Dex helped Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) set Sonny up.
After today’s episode, we may get more details about Dex’s family and, hopefully, one step closer to solving the mystery of who exactly is Dex’s father.
