‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is preparing a sinister plan to get Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to go off the rails and get himself thrown in prison. Soon, his plans could also include getting rid of Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).
‘General Hospital Spoilers: Valentin Wants to Kill Two Birds With One Stone
He switched Sonny’s bipolar medicine with placebo pills, proving that he is not above putting someone with mental health issues in great danger.
Valentin knows that if the mafia boss goes off his medicine, it will affect those close to him. He’s been trying to push his former flame, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), away from Sonny, and his evil plot may be the reason why.
Not only is Sonny unsafe, but so are the people he loves. Sonny can become very volatile when he’s not on his meds, as his anger and rage often trigger him. He could easily lash out, and it would be Valentin’s fault.
It won’t take long before someone connects Valentin with the medication switcheroo. People will start to find out the kind of man Valentin is, even Nina, who will be horrified by Valentin’s actions.
In addition to the failed takedown of Sonny, a defeated Valentin will learn that Jason is an FBI informant trying to take down Pikeman. Valentin doesn’t want anyone to know about his role at the organization.
He will try to lure Jason into a trap, using the person closest to him to do so. Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) may be collateral damage to Valentin as he needs leverage to get Jason to come to him.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Valentin Will Use Carly As Bait
Valentin could go into “Bobbie’s” when Carly is working. As Carly is closing up for the night, Valentin will grab her and take her off to somewhere that is very “Cassadine.” Carly will, of course, put up a good fight.
Maybe he will take her to Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) compound in Greece. Valentin will lure Jason to the Cassadine compound with the intent of killing him.
After all, Jason knows too much, which makes him a significant threat to Pikeman and Valentin. Kidnapping Carly will make Jason rush to get to her.
Jason may even convince Sonny to come with him to rescue Carly. They will put their differences aside to save the woman they both love. They will want to hurry as they understand what Valentin is capable of.
Valentin could lie and say he will kill Carly if Jason doesn’t show up, prompting him to get to Greece immediately. When he gets there, he’s in for a surprise; Valentin’s target isn’t Carly after all; it’s Jason.
Once Valentin gets Jason into one of the rooms alone, he will try to kill him. During this time, Sonny protects Carly, but Carly reminds him that Jason is his “brother,” and they must go save him.
It will be a showdown, but Sonny, Jason, and Carly will win in the end. The three of them will leave the island with a renewed connection. Valentin is about to go down, but not before a knock-down, drag-out fight.
