First, General Hospital spoilers reveal Eddie Maine (Wally Kurth) surprised us last time. When Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) advised him to “dive in” and talked about a “leap of faith,” we did not expect him to take that so literally!
Especially since, for him, this is likely an unknown body of water which could be home to anything. And he’s definitely going to pay for that decision Thursday, November 9. There’s a shot in the promo of him being tangled up in some vegetation in the water.
This is where Olivia will jump into action. Seeing his jacket and shoes sitting there, she’ll surely realize he’s in the water. And we expect her to jump in and save him.
We expect this danger Eddie’s in to be a “blessing in disguise” moment where the trauma of the moment (and Olivia’s assistance) will help wake up the Ned Quartermaine (Kurth) within.

Elsewhere, we were sad to see Lois talking about going back home, even though we knew it wasn’t likely she was really leaving.
After all, they still have a reunion with Gloria Cerullo (Ellen Travolta) ahead! And it seems they’re setting us up for it in this episode. Teasers say Lois cautions Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton).
Likely, this will be about her wanting Brook Lynn to accept Deception after all. But we do know for sure that Lois must sense that Brook Lynn might still need her. In the promo, she says, “Just say the word and I will stay exactly where I am.”
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers For Thursday, November 9: Betrayal
In other General Hospital spoilers, it seems Spencer feels betrayed. It’s not hard to guess why, as he’ll tell Laura, “How could you do this?” Obviously, he’ll learn what Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) has planned and not approve.
The idea Laura would support Esme, especially in leaving with Ace, will be a harsh blow for Spencer, as he’s been so adamant about being there for his little brother.
Plus, he’s just dealt with the news his father’s really alive and choosing to stay away—again. So, the hurt will be amplified.

Finally, we saw Ava get a reality check about Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) last time. The look on her face told us she’s likely planning all kinds of terrible things for Austin. But we think Sonny might try to talk her down.
In the promo, he tells someone, “That’s the last thing you want to do.” Sounds like he’s talking to Ava to us. And keeping Austin in the dark about what she knows could be a good strategic move for now.
